A Quick Check Up: Are We Walking the Talk?
ANCOR, the American Network of Community Options and Resources, and CQL | The Council on Quality and Leadership, partnered to create “A Quick Check-up: Do We Walk the Talk” quiz. It was created as a tool for community-based service organizations to assess their culture and overall readiness to meaningfully engage people served in developing an individualized, personal outcomes plan. The "Walk the Talk" quiz is a fun, non-threatening way for service providers and others in the disability community to assess their organizations’ culture as it relates to person-directed values, actions and implementation. It covers decision making, resource allocation, and organizational culture, among other topics.

Don't Be Getting My "Rights" All Wrong
This booklet is intended to help you learn how well you are exercising your rights. It can also help your staff determine how well they are supporting you to exercise
your rights. Some people will want to answer the questions on their own. You can decide if you need any help or if you want to share the results. Other people may want
some support to answer the questions. Family members, friends or direct support professionals can provide support by reading the questions or rephrasing the
questions so that you understand what is being asked. The results can be used to identify rights that are most important to you and areas where you need more support to fully exercise your rights.
