Sylvia Nudler - Vice President and Chief Operating Officer

Sylvia Nudler is Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of CQL – The Council on Quality and Leadership in Supports for People with Disabilities. A member of the CQL senior management team, Ms. Nudler formulates and directs strategic priorities and initiatives.

Prior to joining CQL in 1989, Ms. Nudler was Division Administrator of The Education Center of Sheppard Pratt, a leading mental health community and continuing education program in Maryland. Ms. Nudler is a graduate of the University of Maryland and holds a Master’s in Administrative Science degree from The Johns Hopkins University. She co-edited Quality Performance in Human Services (1998) and is co-author of Paraprofessionals in Mental Health (1983). 

Ms. Nudler has been actively involved with the Maryland Association of Non Profit Organizations’ Standards of Excellence Program since its inception, where she currently serves as a peer reviewer.
